According to the CAE:

"Students with Advanced Performance on CLA+ demonstrate analysis and problem solving and written communication skills by: 1) exhibiting creativity by generating novel ideas and introducing concepts in order to create or seek new evidence; 2) thinking about conditions and nuances while expressing the finer points and caveats by proposing a conditional conclusion; 3) identifying and comprehending ambiguities in the data that are presented (e.g., outliers, sample size) as well as gaps in logic and reasoning; 4) displaying a level of sophistication in their responses, which includes consistency, completeness, and a command of the English language; and 5) creating and synthesize the provided evidence into a cohesive, convincing, and well-structured argument."
